Greetings, skiers! While the sunny days have been beautiful for hiking, canoeing, and other outdoor recreation activities, it sure isn’t helping the ski conditions! The trails across the street are closed for skiing, but open for hiking. The durable man-made snow on the practice area is still holding on, with about a half of a football field’s worth of snow cover. The practice area is open for skiing, so come on out and demo a new pair of skis!
Want to get in ski shape without snow? Grab some Nordic Walking Poles and hit the trails! Not only will you get a nice upper-body workout and burn more calories, you’ll take strain off your legs and and walk faster! It’s highly addicting, and you can demo a pair of Nordic Walking Poles at the shop anytime we’re open.
Lastly, did you catch us on Fox News 2 this week? If you didn’t, check it out here!
