This breathable insulation jacket (302g W/M) is made for cross country skiing. It also works great for snow shoeing, fat tire biking, winter hiking, and all kinds of outdoor activities, where breathability AND warmth is needed. We love this jacket because it’s warm when you need it, and can dump heat and dry out quickly when you start producing excess heat. This innovative, technical jacket keeps you comfortable in a wide range of temperatures and conditions better than most any other XC ski jacket we carry.
Norrona uses a light nylon stretch as the face fabric because it provides good breathability and wind protection. The Norrona Alpha Insulated Zip also features Polartec® Alpha® insulation because it is the world-leading breathable insulation, and does not need a lining on the inside. In the hood, part of the sleeve and sides feature Polartec® Power Grid fleece because of its stretch, warmth to weight and durability.

The face fabric is a 20D+30D x 20D stretch 55% recycled nylon/ 37% nylon/ 8% polyurethane fabric (62 g/m2). The Polartec® Alpha® insulation is a 100% recycled polyester (95 g/m2). The Polartec® Power Grid fleece is a 85% recycled polyester/ 15% elastane fabric (166 g/m2) fabric.
