Cross Country Ski Report: Friday, January 23rd

Due to subzero temperatures, we are not grooming the trails today. The trails are open, but if you ski, be sure to dress like you’re crossing Antartica, It is currently -4 F, with a wind chill of -12 F. Tomorrow should be a balmy 6 degrees by 2pm, and we’ll have the fires stoked for a very hearty Bavarian Ski Festival!

Good day! It’s a bright, clear, cold morning. The grooming team is snowcombing the skating lanes, which are in great shape. There are classic tracks, albiet somewhat shallow and glazed in spots. Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow, so we’re looking forward to a great weekend of skiing and fun on snow! The Stone Turtle Cafe is open for lunch and drinks today.

The grooming turned out just beautifully yesterday. The grooming team set tracks and snow-combed all the trails yesterday after the fresh snowfall, and all trails were freshly snow-combed this morning. Conditions are very good for classic and skating. The Stone Turtle Cafe is open for lunch today, or bring your own picnic! The fires are going.
