Cross Country Ski Report: Friday, January 23rd
Due to subzero temperatures, we are not grooming the trails today. The trails are open, but if you ski, be sure to dress like you’re crossing Antartica, It is currently -4 F, with a wind chill of -12 F. Tomorrow should be a balmy 6 degrees by 2pm, and we’ll have the fires stoked for a very hearty Bavarian Ski Festival!

Oh happy day! We received more snow yesterday and over night. All trails have been groomed and tracks set this morning. We have 18-24″ of snow in the woods, and 8-12″ packed on the trails. Good day! It’s a bright, clear, cold morning. The grooming team is snowcombing the skating lanes, which are in great shape. There are classic tracks, albiet somewhat shallow and glazed in spots. Things cooled back down overnight and the soft spots yesterday are now mostly hardened back up. The grooming turned out just beautifully yesterday. The grooming team set tracks and snow-combed all the trails yesterday after the fresh snowfall, and all trails were freshly snow-combed this morning. Conditions are very good for classic and skating.
