Where will you be skiing?*
- I will always be on machine-groomed trails.
- I will be mostly on machine-groomed trails or trails that have "skied-in" tracks, but will make my own tracks once in a while.

- I will be making my own tracks most of the time, but will be on "skied-in" trails or groomed trails once in a while.

What kind of No-Wax Grip are you looking for on your XC skis?*
- I want traditional "fish-scale" style grip section. This is the tried-and-true original No-Wax Grip technology. The Pros: Delivers consistent grip whether or not you have "good technique/form". Very low maintenance.The Cons: Because of their longer grip section, these skis are not as fast as Skin skis. In escpecially high-moisture snow conditions, snow may clump or stick to the bases if liquid glide wax is not applied.
- I'm looking for a Skin grip section. These skis have been growing in popularity for the past 10 years. Pros: They are built with hydrophobic materials so they never "stick" to the snow. Overall these will provide better glide in most snow conditions. Cons: They require an athletic weight transfer or "good form" to get the grip. If you have a more "casual" or upright technique, they just won't give you the grip. The Skins will wear out in 3 to 5 years (about $45).
