The snow doctoring team has completed the entire snow-spreading operation on the Trapper’s Cabin Loop. This ~2km trail now is completely covered with a solid base of man-made snow. It was snow combed this morning, and is in great condition for classic and skating, as is the practice area. All the rest of the trails are open but have fair to poor conditions. THIS WEEKEND: Plan on the Trapper’s Cabin trail and the practice area being in good shape for skiing, with a strong base of man-made snow. LOTS of fun events planned for the weekend as well, be sure to check out live music, a NEW exciting food special, a free ski lesson, and a learn to skate ski clinic! *With rain in the forecast Thursday night, we will likely close the trails on Friday to preserve the base.
Today’s Forecast: Partly cloudy this morning, then becoming cloudy during the afternoon. High 47F. Winds light and variable.
