The rain and warm temps have taken a hit on the snow. The trails will not be open today; however, the practice area has several feet of man-made snow on it, and will be open for the Free Lesson at 10:30am today, as well as any other lessons and demos. The trails are open today for skiing, and the base is holding up very well. Conditions will get softer throughout the day due to the warm and damp weather, so skiing in the morning will provide the best conditions. The trails are in great condition for classic and skate skiing. Not enough depth to set classic tracks, but there are some skied-in tracks out there. All trails are open and have been snowcombed. There will be a Cabin Boy at Trapper’s Cabin today serving hot cocoa and snacks around the bonfire, and the Stone Turtle Cafe is open! Enjoy this beautiful winter day!

Blessed be! We received 5 inches of snow throughout the day yesterday and last night. Butch rolled the trails last night, and Groomer Mike is grooming this morning. We recommend rock skis, as there is about 3 inches of ungroomed snow to ski on, enough to have a beautiful cruise around the trail system today.
