Happy Sunny Solstice! Cold temps through the night have allowed the snow we received yesterday to set up nicely. The main trail network is not groomed or rolled, but still very skiable! We received about 2 inches of snow last night and the trails are open! We did not roll or groom, but the the trails are definitely skiable and certainly beautiful. Classic skiing is recommended; expect the snow to be soft and fluffy. We have a fun weekend coming up with the free lesson on Saturday at 10:30am, and live music Saturday night for dinner,

Temps remained above freezing all night, with a chance of rain this morning. Conditions will be marginal. Luckily we have a pretty good base and after today, it cools back down with some snow in the forecast for wed/thur. Forecast: Today: Cloudy with a change of rain.. High 41F. Winds N at 5 to 10 mph. Groomer Butch snowcombed the Trappers Cabin, Rolling Hills, Wild Turkey, and Tall Pines trails yesterday. The snow set up nicely due to cold temps over night and those trails are in good shape. Good morning! We received just over 2 inches of snow last night. With more snowfall in the forecast for today and tonight, the grooming team is going to hold off on grooming today so that more snow can accumulate onto the base. After cold temps last night, the snow has firmed up into skiable crust, and it’s a bit like spring skiing out there. Lots of stretches of trails are still fully covered, and there are also some thin and bare spots out there. Trails are open, and we recommend metal-edged classic skis, or skate skis for today. We are expecting more cold and some snow

As of yesterday afternoon, the skating lanes were holding up well, while the tracks were becoming thin in spots. As it has been warm and a bit drizzly overnight, the snow is wet and soft and we will not be grooming. We expect classic conditions to still be fair, but skating is not recommended today. Low temps and snow look to be returning this

The trails are open and remain in great condition! We won’t be grooming today as it did not get below freezing, but the tracks from yesterday should still be in adequate shape. No doubt that with the warmer weather today the conditions will change as the day progresses, so ski early for best conditions. There will be a Cabin Boy at Trapper’s Cabin today,
