Cross Country Ski Report – Sunday, March 9th
Good morning! Today is the Michigan Cup Relays. The race course, consisting of Tall Pines, Mackinaw Cut, Wild Turkey, Trapper’s Cabin and Rolling Hills, are closed to the public until after the race, about 12:30pm today. Cross Country Ski Report – Saturday, March 8th
The skiing was wonderful yesterday, and while the sun created a bit more ice for today’s conditions, Groomer Mike snowcombed all the trails with the exception of Tall Pines and Wild Turkey last night, and we expect conditions to be good to great. Amazingly,most of the trails are still in pretty good shape! Groomer Mike snowcombed almost everything today, with the exception of Tall Pines and Wild Turkey. Manitou has some slick sections that we plan to chew up and smooth out. Skate lanes are good on everything else. There may be some crusty spots at the bottom of hills, but the skiing should be fast and
