The trails have set up nicely over the past few days, both the tracks and the skate deck are in incredible shape. Most of the white pines are still caked in snow, and the smiling faces of happy skiers are in abundance!

Learn how to cross country ski at our FREE beginner ski lesson! You will learn the basics of traditional (classic style) XC ski technique, plus hill climbing, descending, and turning. You will even learn how to get up when you fall down! Free lessons are limited to 25 people. Ski rentals are available at the rental desk on a first-come, first-served basis. For lunch, the Stone Turtle Cafe will prepare the culinary specialty that represents each city in the Super Bowl: BBQ from Kansas City, and Philly Cheese Steaks from Philadelphia. Have you been thinking about trying skate skiing, but aren’t sure how to get into it? Join us for our Learn How to Skate Ski Clinic, which includes a Facilities Pass and 90 minute group skate ski lesson. Cost for the clinic is $20. Ski rentals are available at our normal rates. Full day rental reservations are available for this event (pick up equipment as early as 9:00am). For rentals less than a full day, equipment is issued on a first come, first serve basis (no reservations available for less than full day rentals). The clinic starts at 11:00am. Space is limited, so sign up here. Warning, you may become addicted!
