Model year 2024/25. Ski weight 970 grams for size 192cm. Side cut 44-43-44 mm. We will hand-pick the best pair of skis according to your weight, ability, and height to ensure optimum performance. The only ski with a full carbon construction, the Salomon S/Lab Carbon Skate ski has exceeded our expectations in their unparalleled stability and speed. Composed of thin ply carbon fabrics that utilize thinner laminates, and a stronger and lighter composite than conventional carbon fabrics, this ski delivers huge improvements in torsional rigidity, power transmission, and responsiveness. Thin, low profile tip and tail cut weight and swing weight – each ski weighs a mere 490 grams (making them the lightest on the market), allowing for improved ski return and less fatigue. What we’re really excited about is how unbelievably stable these skis are; unique construction featuring 45 degree carbon weaving gives a noticeable 20% improvement in torsion/flexion ratio, meaning you can ride the ski longer and relax more. All this plus a Nomex core, the ski features a World Cup G5 cold base and World Cup G1 grind combination that helps it excel in cold snow conditions on the racetrack. A redesigned THIN PLY carbon weaving construction keeps your stability and transmission up while also saving 20 percent material waste in the production of each ski. The Universal version features a base and grind which is up to five percent faster than previous model – for perfect glide in a wider range of snow conditions. XC Ski HQ Demo Rating: 5 out of 5 stars. List Price: $840
Model year 2023/24. Sizes: Women’s US 5.5 to Men’s US sizes 13.5. The Salomon RS10 Nocturne Prolink Boot is built to offer reliable edge grip, enhanced stability and easy access to long gliding phases. Quick pull lacing system makes them a breeze to put on, tighten and loosen, and easy to use central lace cover. Salomon’s Energyzer ankle cuff provides lateral support, so the skier can get efficient kick and relax between strides. The superior back support minimizes fatigue, while the direct cuff-to-chassis connection and 3D chassis, extended by an under-forefoot blade, ensure maximum power transmission. Skating flex and Advanced 3D chassis give these boots torsional rigidity, which enables precise power transfer and lateral stability. The reflective Nocturne graphics add a modern touch to your look! Prolink sole is compatible with all Prolink, NNN, and Turnamic bindings. XC Ski HQ Demo Rating: 4½ out of 5 stars. List Price: $339
